What a perfect Birthday gift!!! I've been searching for a coconut custard pie for ages. My friend lives in Georgetown and highly recommended Ball & Que's pies. She even surprised me today with my own pie! Soooooo delicious and the most appreciated Birthday gift

It's late on a weeknight and I'm driving through Georgetown. A red neon "RESTAURANT OPEN" sign gets my attention and I say to myself "Self, an open restaurant, just what I need." I bounce over the curb to get to the weird parking spot, leaving the exit for future me to worry about, present me is ready to eat. I walk in and it's a sleepy feeling diner with a large bar at the front and a pretty large dining area. I hop up to the bar and take a seat to be quickly greeted. I have no idea what they're known for so I put my faith and future in the waitresses hands. The suggestion is a fried chicken club, which I obviously oblige. Not something I'd order but we're on an adventure. As someone very close to me once said, "tots are tots are tots", and she was right. But the club was pretty good. About $15 for dinner. I'd say it was priced fairly. I'm not familiar with the culinary scene of the area, but this place appears to be a safe bet for a safe meal.
